Privacy notice

Controller. Autocamiones del Pacífico ("ACP"), domiciled in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and the Privacy Notice Guidelines.

Data we collect and primary purposes. (a) Ticket purchases: each passenger’s name, the buyer’s email (required: it issues, retrieves and resends your ticket) and an optional phone number — to issue the ticket, identify you at boarding and allow retrieval/reprint by ticket number + email. (b) Online payment: gateway payment references; ACP does not store card numbers — payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified gateways (Stripe, Mercado Pago, PayPal). (c) Parcels: sender and recipient name and email (phone optional), package description and, upon delivery, a photograph, signature and, where applicable, the ID of the person receiving, as proof of delivery. (d) Optional account: email and credentials — only to keep your tickets and notifications; an account is NOT required to buy. (e) Push notifications: a device token linked to your email, to notify you of departure changes and package status.

Secondary purposes. Promotions and quality surveys, only with your consent; you may refuse or revoke it without affecting the service by writing to [email protected].

Data we do NOT collect. We do not request sensitive data (health, religion, biometrics) to sell tickets. The delivery photo and signature are used solely as proof of delivery.

Retention. Tickets and sales: the applicable tax period (5 years). Delivery evidence (photo/signature/ID): 12 months, then deleted or anonymized. Audit logs: 12 months. If you delete your account there is a 7-day grace period, after which anything not subject to a legal obligation is deleted or anonymized.

ARCO rights and revocation. You may exercise Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection, and revoke your consent, by writing to [email protected] with: your name, a contact method, a description of the request and, for purchases without an account, the registered ticket number and email. We reply within 20 business days.

Cookies and local storage. This site only uses your browser’s local storage for preferences (language, theme) and your optional session; we use no advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Changes to this notice. Any change will be published on this page. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the current notice.

Terms and conditions

No account is needed to buy. Your proof of purchase is the ticket number: with ticket number + email you can retrieve your ticket on this site or get a free reprint at any office. Each ticket is nominative (it carries its passenger’s name) and its QR code is single-use at boarding.

Payment. We accept cards (Stripe), PayPal and Mercado Pago (card, SPEI bank transfer and cash via OXXO). Your seat selection is held for 15 minutes; if payment is not completed within its window, the order is cancelled and the seats are released at no charge. Prefer cash? Use OXXO through Mercado Pago or buy directly at your local office.

Pricing. Fares are calculated per kilometer between stops, rounded to multiples of $5 MXN; discounts (senior, minor, student, partner) are granted in person at the office.

Boarding. Be at the platform at least 15 minutes before departure with your QR (on screen or printed). The passenger name must match the person boarding.

Luggage. One checked bag of up to 25 kg and one carry-on per passenger. Valuables travel at the passenger’s own risk.

Schedule changes. ACP may reschedule or cancel departures due to force majeure; in that case you may choose a 100% refund or a free change, and we notify the registered email.

Refund policy

Cancellation more than 24 h before departure: 100%. Between 24 and 12 h: 75%. Less than 12 h: cancellation is not allowed.

Refunds go to the original payment method (bank posting times apply, typically 5–10 business days); cash payments made at an office are refunded in cash upon presenting the ticket number. Purchases without an account are cancelled with ticket number + email, on this site or at an office.

Unpaid online cash payments (OXXO voucher via Mercado Pago) expire with the order at no charge.

If ACP cancels the departure: 100% refund or free rescheduling, your choice, regardless of notice. Once cancelled, the ticket’s QR is immediately invalidated. Seat changes and rescheduling are allowed up to 12 h before departure.

Data transfers

Our database and authentication run on cloud providers that may be located outside Mexico (United States), and payments, emails and notifications are processed by certified processors (Stripe, Mercado Pago, PayPal, Resend, Google/Firebase).

These transfers are made to data processors under contracts with security measures equivalent to those required by the LFPDPPP (encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging). Processors may not use your data for their own purposes; we do not sell or share your data with third parties.
